This necklace is the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. I think i might foresee a Spring necklace in this style (wink). It is 18.5" plus the leaf cluster which is approx 20.5". If you need a longer chain just add a note with the length.
A lariat necklace is a linear style necklace distinguished by the lack of a clasp. They are usually held in place by threading one end though a loop. It has a decorative drop (or in this case a cluster of leaves) that goes through the loop. Sometimes its referred to as a Y necklace since it resembles that shape.
